My homework assignment for The Biggest Loser (Dunn Family & Friends) was to venture out and try something new....so I said HEY WHY NOT?!?!
Drew and I had picked up some pita bread on one of our many shopping trips but hadn't tried it yet. So I decided to make Chicken Salad Pita Pockets for lunch for my mom and I.
I just want to say WHERE THE HECK HAVE I BEEN? PITA PITA BREAD is amazing! :)

Ok, so I just read your blog, and a few older ones that you wrote...and had the itch to blog myself! Totally copied you!! Eh, gives me something to do instead of being bored, most of my shows haven't started up yet! By the way, these look amazing, I want the recipe!!! Miss you love!
ReplyDeleteAwww you're too funny! I love blogging and I'm glad I'm back to it..and can't wait to read all of yours!
ReplyDeleteThe Chicken Salad Pita Pockets were amazing - all I did was measured out one whole/half serving (look on the nutrional information on each item) of all ingredients:
Almonds
Chow Mein Noodles
Cheese
Lettuce
Tomatoes
Grilled Chicken (frozen, foster farms)
Light Ranch
You cook the grilled chicken and towards the end you place the pita pockets in the oven with the chicken.
Then you mix all the ingredients together and stuff the salad into the pita pockets and then you've got yourself a Chicken Salad Pita Pocket!!!
We should totally make this for family night! :)
